After discovering a hidden letter suggesting his birth mother in Korea is searching for him, a Korean adoptee and star high school athlete in Massachusetts is forced to confront the cracks in his carefully constructed American identity. As family secrets unravel and his sense of belonging falters, he journeys with his adoptive mother to Korea, where he uncovers the truth about his past and begins to reconcile the pieces of himself he thought were lost.
